The Philadelphia Area African American Leadership Forum is a collaborative of African American leaders committed to improving the quality of life and life chances for the African American community through strategic efforts in the nonprofit sector by:

  • Promoting collective action; valuing collective power
  • Becoming data driven and building high performing organizations – increasing the capacity to collect and analyze data in an effort to prioritize issues and create impactful strategic responses
  • Promoting social innovation and bringing to scale “what works”
  • Deepening the relationship with the broader philanthropic community and public sector in an effort to become less  transactional and more transformative
  • Cultivating and aligning leadership
